Founded as a Floriculture grower and wholesaler before expanding into landscape construction, plant distribution, brokerage, and tree farms.
West Orange Nurseries, Inc., was founded in 1978 as a Floriculture grower and wholesaler of annual flowers for customers like Walt Disney World, Marriott World Center, Valley Crest Landscape, and several other large maintenance companies and theme parks.
After experiencing tremendous demand for our flower products and installation services, we decided to expand operations into the Landscape Construction segment in 1979, with projects successfully completed throughout the state of Florida, the United States, and the Caribbean. This included master-planned communities, large-scale commercial projects, and high-end residential projects for corporate clients, such as Carrabba's Italian Grill, Walt Disney World, Toll Brothers, K. Hovnanian Homes, Robins and Morton, high-end custom builders, and more.
In 1991, West Orange Nurseries, Inc. made the transition into re-wholesale plant distribution, brokerage, and tree farms. With our background in the Horticulture industry, we continued to maintain our lofty standards. This was a natural progression for our company as we continued to develop systems and procedures to offer the highest quality material and finished projects to our Landscape clients and current wholesale customers such as SiteOne Landscape Supply.
Since opening our doors in 1978, West Orange Nurseries has always believed in servicing and providing the highest quality, honesty, and trustworthiness in every project, product, or service we supply. Because of this, we have developed healthy, long-lasting relationships with every customer and continue to use this principle today.
